Leader in Me
Leader in Me is an evidence-based, comprehensive model that builds leadership and life skills in students, creates a high-trust school culture, and lays the foundation for sustained academic achievement.
The mission of Leader in Me is to unleash the greatness in students, educators, and school communities everywhere.

Students presented their new recess ideas and how they would manage these new games to their principal, and their ideas were approved. The students then presented to the PTA president and the PTA agreed to fund their new program. The latest games and “gamemasters” recess monitors program was introduced to LHMS students and it has been a huge success. Students have embraced their Leader in Me “Gamemasters” role, and behaviors have improved tremendously.
Parents synergized by participating in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Training. Their commitment to this initiative to foster student leaders is commendable. Their active involvement in their child’s education and the children of this district sends a powerful message that education is a shared responsibility.
