Internal Auditor (7 Hours)- Central Office

The St. Tammany Parish School Board is now accepting applications for an Internal Auditor. This is a twelve-month (12) position. Salary range is $77,643 (Pay level 0) to $113,103 (Pay level 45). Qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least three (3) years of experience in governmental auditing, preferably of school boards. An additional four (4) years of experience in governmental auditing may be substituted for the required Bachelor’s degree. An AMBA, CPA, or CIA may be substituted for two (2) years of the required three (3) years of experience. CIA or CPA preferred. Successful supervisory and administrative experience in accounting and/or auditing is also required in addition to the ability to prepare written audit reports.
