St. Tammany Early Childhood Ready Start Network
The St. Tammany Parish Early Childhood Community Network is a collaboration of the St. Tammany Parish Public School System, Early Head Start/Head Start, Type III Child Care Centers and academically approved Family Childcare Centers.
Preschool Early Intervention
The St. Tammany Parish’s Preschool Early Intervention (PEI) program is designed to serve three, four, and five year old students who have identified special education needs.
The Public School Pre K program provides a free daily education to four year old children who meet the income qualifications as determined by the Louisiana State Department of Education.
Child Search screens children ages 3-6 who are not enrolled in school to identify needs and provide support in areas of communication, motor, sensory, cognitive, social, or self-help skills.
