Work Permits No Longer Issued by School District Effective May 2026
New process for work permits:
- Accept a Job: Once a student accepts a job offer, the employer will provide an Employment Verification Form.
- Complete the Form: The student completes the Employment Verification Form and returns it to the employer.
- Employer Submission: The employer emails the completed Employment Verification Form to the Louisiana Office of Workforce Development. Once the form is received, the work permit is issued directly to the employer.
