Superintendent Jabbia is continuing his commitment to recognizing the individuals and groups who go above and beyond to support our students, schools, and school system.
Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, follow along as outstanding members of the STPPS family are honored with a Legacy Award Medal for their dedication and service.
The St. Tammany Parish Public Schools (STPPS) Maintenance Department has a legacy of getting the job done. No matter how big or small the challenge, these dedicated employees spring into action to help ensure students and educators have the safe, functional environments they need for teaching and learning.
Recently, that commitment meant working through the night until the sun came up to restore electricity at one of our schools. Their dedication and teamwork helped get the school back up and running, demonstrating that building our legacy often means being there when our schools need us most.

Art teacher Dianne Waller is leaving a lasting legacy throughout the Pearl River High community. Her creativity can be seen throughout the school, where she has transformed walls into beautiful works of art, as well as in murals she has created at the local park for families to enjoy.
But Dianne’s greatest impact goes far beyond the artwork she creates. She is a source of light and encouragement for Pearl River High students, teaching them not only the value of art and creativity, but also the importance of having someone they can trust, count on, and turn to.

The Woodlake custodians live by a simple but powerful motto: “Care for every student like they are your own.” They take tremendous pride in their work to create a clean, welcoming environment where students, teachers, and staff can thrive.
