Teach St. Tammany 2025-2026 Cohort Celebrates Certification Milestone

Thirteen aspiring educators have successfully completed the St. Tammany Parish Public Schools (STPPS) Teach St. Tammany alternative certification program and are now eligible to receive their teaching certificates, marking an important milestone in their journey and in strengthening our classrooms.

To celebrate the accomplishment, cohort members recently gathered for a special recognition ceremony where they received their program completion certificates, and their Teach St. Tammany instructors honored them with awards and celebrated the dedication, perseverance, and growth they demonstrated throughout the program. The ceremony served as both a recognition of their hard work and a celebration of the impact they are already making in STPPS.

Teach St. Tammany offers a pathway for college graduates and career experts to transition into the teaching profession. Through the program, participants teach full time while earning a teacher salary and receive on-the-job training, certification support, professional development, and ongoing coaching. There is no out-of-pocket cost for the program with a three-year commitment to teach in STPPS.
