STPPS Student Named State Student of the Year Finalist

Mayfield Elementary fifth grader Lauren Singleton has been selected as a finalist in the state’s 2024-2025 Student of the Year competition!

One fifth, eighth, and twelfth grade student is selected from each of the state's eight regions to move on to compete in the state level competition. The state student of the year for each grade level will be announced on May 16th during a special ceremony in Baton Rouge.
