STPPS Athletic Events Guide- Safety Protocols, Online Tickets and More
Below is helpful information for STPPS junior high and high school athletic events.
Safety Protocols
This year, we're introducing new protocols to help enhance the safety of our students, coaches and spectators at our games. Bag guidelines and metal detectors will be in place at STPPS junior high and high school stadiums and gymnasiums.
Bag Guidelines
New bag guidelines will be in place at all athletic events on STPPS campuses.
Approved for entry:
- Clear Totes: Maximum Size of 12” x 8” x 12”; One Bag Per Person
- Clear Small Purses: Maximum Size of 4.5” x 6.5”; One Bag Per Person
- Clear Plastic Storage Bag: Maximum Size of One Gallon, Resealable; One Bag Per Person
- Seat Cushion: No Larger than 16” Wide including the seat cushion with back; No Arms or Pockets Allowed

Metal Detectors
All spectators will be screened through walk-through metal detectors at junior high and high school stadiums and gymnasiums. Keys, phones, and wallets may remain on a person unless the items set off the metal detector.
Anyone who sets off the metal detector will be asked to remove items and go through the metal detector again. If the metal detector goes off a second time, the person will be asked to step aside for additional screening with a hand held security wand. If the security wand activates, a law enforcement officer will conduct an additional screening.
Not complying with screening will result in the denial of entry to the event. Refunds will not be issued if a person is denied entry to an athletic event.
Buy Tickets Online
Purchasing tickets is now easier than ever. Get your tickets online, avoid lines at the gate, and enjoy payment and entry with your mobile device. Online tickets are available for all high schools and some junior highs.
