Covington High Teacher Rachel Senez Recognized at Keesler Federal Educator Impact Awards Luncheon
Keesler Federal Credit Union recently hosted its inaugural Impact Awards Luncheon, bringing together outstanding educators from across the region for a celebration of excellence in education and the power of community partnerships.
Among the honorees was Rachel Senez, a teacher at Covington High School and 2025-2026 STPPS High School Teacher of the Year. Her recognition highlights not only her dedication to her students, but also the lasting impact educators have both inside and outside the classroom.
The luncheon created a meaningful space to recognize the collective efforts of teachers, schools, and community partners who work together to support student success. Each Educator Impact Award recipient received a $1,700 award check and a commemorative award in appreciation of their commitment and service. In addition, each honoree’s school was presented with a $750 check to further support educational initiatives and classroom needs.
Congratulations to Rachel Senez and all of the Educator Impact Award honorees for making a difference in the lives of students every day.
