Another Year of Academic Growth: STPPS 2025–2026 LEAP Results

The results from the 2025-2026 LEAP assessments are in and we are proud to celebrate another year of academic growth across the St. Tammany Parish Public School System (STPPS). STPPS students scoring proficiency had an overall growth of 2%. Scoring proficiency indicates that a student is on track and ready for success at the next grade level, making this growth a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families.

In addition to LEAP data, we also received English Language Proficiency Tests (ELPT) results that showed tremendous progress. STPPS English Language (EL) students scoring proficiency had an overall growth of 6%.

“This achievement is something our entire community should be proud of,” said Superintendent Frank Jabbia. “It reflects the dedication of our students, the commitment of our teachers and staff, and the support of our families.”

These results are the product of intentional planning and a commitment to student achievement. Instructional leadership teams use student data to establish long-term goals, implement targeted strategies, and monitor progress throughout the year. Through professional learning communities and ongoing professional development, teachers collaborate regularly to share best practices, strengthen instruction, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Parents/caregivers can view their child’s LEAP scores later today (7/6/2026) in the Student Progress Center.
