25-26 STPPS Back to School Resources: Bus and Registration Info, District Calendar, Smart Start Days and More
Below is helpful information and links for the beginning of the school year.
Quick Links
26-27 Smart Start Days
All students in Pre K-12 will report for one of the Smart Start Days based on the first letter of their last name.
August 6: Only Pre K-12 students with last names A-L attend school on this day.
August 7: Only Pre K-12 students with last names M-Z attend school on this day.
All students attend school and begin a normal schedule beginning August 10th.
Attendance
To help support student success through regular attendance, we've updated our attendance procedures to align with state guidelines.
Every absence requires a note. Please send a written excuse each time your child is absent. This helps us keep accurate attendance records and can prevent your child from being flagged for truancy.
- Parents may submit up to three (3) written excuses per semester.
- If your child is sick for consecutive days (such as with the flu), those days count as one parent excuse. Absences of more than three consecutive days require a doctor's note.
- All absence notes must be submitted within five (5) days of your child's return to school.
