NOVEMBER 13, 2021, voters will be asked to renew four existing property tax millages to fund ESSENTIAL OPERATIONS AND CRITICAL STAFFING IN STPPS. This renewal will not increase tax rates. These four millages benefit all 38,000 students, all 5,600 STPPS employees, all 55 schools and the entire St. Tammany Parish community.
THESE FOUR MILLAGES PROVIDE 25% OF THE SCHOOL SYSTEM'S OPERATING BUDGET
Essentials for day-to-day operations of schools to provide safe, secure and modern learning environments and successful teaching and learning.
Funds areas such as Curriculum, Technology, Building Repairs and Maintenance.
Retain teachers and support employees to keep class sizes low and provide students with individualized support.
Includes salary and benefits for employees such as Teachers, Custodians, Counselors, Nurses, Librarians and Bus Drivers.
STUDENT PROGRAMS AND INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT
Programs, services and activities to ensure students are well-rounded and prepared for success in college and the workforce.
Funds programs and resources such as STEM, Textbooks, Music, Art, Band, Athletics and P.E.
Please vote Saturday, November 13th. Polling places are open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. on election day. To find your Election Day polling location, visit the Secretary of State Voter Portal.
Early voting will take place October 30 through November 6 (excluding Sunday, Oct. 31) from 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. St. Tammany voters can early vote at any of these three locations:

VOTE BY MAIL
In Louisiana, you must have a reason to be eligible to absentee vote, unless you are a military or overseas voter. There are specific reasons listed below that qualify you to absentee vote. You can submit an application requesting an absentee ballot through the St. Tammany Parish Registrar of Voters.
