In an effort to streamline communication and provide you with important information, starting Monday, November 16, for those courses offered through Edgenuity, we will begin using the communication system within the Edgenuity platform. You and your student will now use this method to communicate directly with teachers. Once logged in to your student’s account, access messaging by clicking on the envelope icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Please check your child’s classes in Edgenuity for messages. For those courses not offered through Edgenuity, communication will continue in the current manner.

VIRTUAL TUTORING (NOW AVAILABLE)Virtual Tutoring is now available in Grades 6-12 Edgenuity courses. Virtual Tutoring is a live chat feature that is now available for students. View instructions.
PARENT PORTAL (Now Available)The Parent Portal allows parents and caregivers to track student progress and view grades through Edgenuity. Activation information was emailed to parents/caregivers. Note: Parents/Caregivers with more than one student will receive an activation code for each child by email. Follow the steps for activating the Family Portal for each child. A password will only need to be created with the first child. Once the additional student has been added, you will be able to toggle between them using the select student feature on the top right.

TRANSFER FROM VIRTUAL SCHOOLStudents now have the option to transfer to their traditional brick-and-mortar school at the beginning of the second nine weeks, Monday, November 9. We are no longer requiring students to remain enrolled for the entire semester. If you wish to drop your child from our virtual school and transfer to the school in your attendance zone, please contact the school in your attendance zone to complete the transfer process. This information is available on our school website at www.stpsb.org/virtual.
CHROMEBOOK DISTRIBUTIONStep 1: Fill out the critical need form (if needed)
Step 2: Complete Google and Chromebook Form
After you fill out your form and a Chromebook becomes available, you will be notified on when/where you can pick it up.
