VISITOR AUTHORIZATION

School Grounds, Buildings, and Other Facilities Every principal shall develop and adopt written rules, regulations and procedures for granting authority to persons to go on school grounds or in any school building or other facility as a visitor during school hours and for notifying visitors of such rules, regulations and procedures. Rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to visitor authorization shall include but not be limited to the following:

  1. No person shall go on elementary or secondary school grounds or in any elementary or secondary school building or other facility without authority of the appropriate school official.
  2. All persons shall report to the administrative office immediately upon arrival.
  3. All persons shall sign in as required by the school administrator.
  4. All persons shall receive an “official visitor identification” as required by the school administrator.
  5. All persons will sign out and relinquish the “official visitor identification” as required by the school administrator.
  6. All persons shall depart from the building and grounds upon completion of business.
