It shall be the policy of the Board that the acceptance of new construction be withheld until all details are complete and the buildings are certified as complete by the Superintendent of Schools.

No such certificate shall be made until all contractual agreements have been met to an extent considered satisfactory under the Louisiana laws and the prescribed St. Tammany Parish School Board standards.

Upon completion of the construction the Board, Superintendent of Schools, or his designee, and the architect shall make an inspection of the project before the Board shall accept the finished product. Certificate of payment for all taxes due shall be on file from the State Tax Commissioner or other designated official before final payment is made to vendors, contractors, or subcontractors. One final inspection shall be made by the same parties before the termination of the performance bond.
