Students dug in the sand and found crawfish and other Louisiana creatures
They weren't real creatures, but reasonable duplications.
Sidewalk chalk drawing was a favorite activities, along with getting snowballs to munch on.
Louisiana crafts was also a popular pasttime.
Dancing to Louisiana style music was one highlight.
Making woodchip necklaces provided a souvenir of the day.
Delta Dolphin and Salty the Pelican dropped in for a visit.
In the "Louisiana - Sportsman Paradise" section, students enjoyed bike rides on simulated bike trails...
Checking out the camping gear representing Louisiana's many campgrounds....
And fishing for a variety of fresh and saltwater fish in the wading pool.
