Kelly Cook Foundation Visits Classrooms

Two teachers from Lake Harbor Middle School, Daryl Henkhaus and Kim Pechon were recently awarded a $3500 grant for their classrooms. The Deborah Rochelle Grant and the Kelly Cook Foundation have been a most innovative and generous source of funding for teachers and schools across Louisiana. Lake Harbor’s students, classrooms and library will benefit from the generosity of this funding! Students were able to enjoy the new technology awarded to Mrs. Pechon that will be used by all of the students at Lake Harbor Middle School.

Ana Lyons is the Louisiana Doodle 4 Google Winner

Lake Harbor Middle School fifth grader Ana Lyons was surprised by Google representatives during an assembly as she was announced as the Louisiana winner in the Doodle 4 Google contest! Click here to vote for her Google Doodle to be named one of five national finalists. Voting is open through February 22nd.
