View Candidates
Five certified candidates have submitted applications to the School Board asking to be considered for the St. Tammany Parish Public School System Superintendent position.
Candidates for the position are Mrs. Dorable Dangerfield, Dr. Robert DeRoche, Mr. Frank Jabbia, Mrs. Amiee Lemane, and Dr. Corwin Robinson.
The School Board will discuss the next steps in the interview process and decide on an interview schedule at the September 10, 2020, Board Meeting.
Dangerfield is currently an STPPS Supervisor in the Curriculum and Instruction department. She was previously a Supervisor of Human Resources, a Principal, Assistant Principal, Resource Helping Teacher, and teacher all in the St. Tammany Parish Public School System.
Dr. DeRoche serves as the principal of Covington High School in St. Tammany Parish. Before that, he served as an Assistant Principal, Parish-Wide Assistant Principal, Administrative Assistant, and teacher all in STPPS.
Jabbia is presently the principal of Northshore High School in St. Tammany Parish. He was previously an Assistant Principal, Administrative Assistant, Teacher, Coach, and driving instructor all in St. Tammany Parish.
Lemane is the current Assistant Superintendent for the St. Tammany Parish Public School System overseeing curriculum and instruction. Before that, she served as an STPPS Human Resources Supervisor, Administration Supervisor, and Curriculum and Instruction Supervisor. She was also a Principal, Assistant Principal, Resource Helping Teacher, Technology Resource Teacher, and teacher all in St. Tammany Parish.
Dr. Robinson is currently the program administrator for STPPS Project Believe, an alternative program in the district. He was previously an instructor at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee; Superintendent of Lake County Schools in Tiptonville, Tennessee; and Commanding Officer/Colonel in the U.S. Army. He also held many other education positions in Tennessee and Louisiana.
