U. S. Senator David Vitter and U. S. Representative Steve Scalise and a number of other elected officials toured the newly-restored Brock Elementary School in December to learn first-hand of the extensive renovations and improvements made to the school since its near destruction by Hurricane Katrina three years ago. Students, teachers, and administrators all thanked the public officials for helping secure the funding needed to rebuild the school.
