Unit Description In this unit dealing with
adversity, the students will analyze the role of hatred in discrimination and
genocide, and they will explore these issues in present-day societies. They
will also conduct research as a means to discovering more about the
world—where we have been, where we are now, and where we are going. This unit
will build on knowledge students learned from Unit 1 and will explore how
their self-images impact their decisions. |
