The first day of school is Friday, August 7th. Below is helpful information and links to help prepare for the start of the school year.
Information on how to register students attending St. Tammany Parish Public Schools for the first time is available on the Registration webpage
To find the school your child will attend, go to the Bus Transportation webpage
and type in the address (without the city and state).
Pre-K and Kindergarten Start Dates
Pre-K and Kindergarten students report to school on either August 13th or August 17th as assigned by the school, and all students report beginning August 18th. Please contact your child’s school for specific information.
2015-16 Fall Registration Dates and Requirements ::..
Fall registration for the 2015-2016 School Year will begin July 29 and go through July 31 for students entering Pre-K through 12th grade for the first time in the St. Tammany Parish Public School System. Registration will take place in person at the school the child will attend.

Each school will have a specific registration date. Hours of registration will be 9:00 a.m. until noon.

21st Century Summer Camps Combine Learning and Fun ::..
It is a summer of fun learning at the 21st Century Community Learning Center summer camps.
The camps focus on keeping students academically challenged and engaged through activities such as reading, math and science classes, sports, cultural enrichment, arts and crafts, field trips and cooking.
Students attending the camp at Pine View Middle, now in its 14th year, can’t get enough of the summer fun. Many of the current student mentors were even former campers themselves.

Campers Build Robots at FHS Robotics Camp ::..
It is a space race this week at the Robotics Summer Camp hosted by the Fontainebleau High RoboDawgs Robotics Team.
During the week long camp, children ages 6-13 are learning to build and program robots to complete a “Space Race to Mars”.
The challenge is based on the FIRST LEGO League competition format where students will design, build and program an NXT robot.

CHS Student Awarded 2015 NAACP Scholarship ::..
Covington High School graduate Isaiah Carter was presented with the 2015 NAACP Scholarship Award by the Greater Covington Branch of the NAACP.
During the banquet and award recognition program, NAACP officials recognized Isaiah for his academic and athletic accomplishments, leadership and character.
In addition to ranking in the top of his class, he received the Allstate Sugar Bowl Scholar-Athlete Award, Wendy’s Heisman Award and was named to the Covington High School Student Hall of Fame.
He will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in human performance, recreation and sport management at the University of Southern Mississippi while also participating as a member of the football team.
